Sacred Studies at Good Shepherd

The Sacred Studies group offers individuals alternative ways of finding God by exploring non-traditional paths to spirituality.  For the past 37 years The Church of the Good Shepherd Episcopal (Lookout Mountain, TN) has offered Sacred Studies programs to individuals wanting to pursue their own inner journey to the Holy and to God.  These programs have included Centerpoint, a four-year study of Carl Jung and his innovative, psychological approach in searching for the Holy (developed by the Episcopal Educational Center); Myers-Briggs Personality Theory; courses on the Enneagram (another personality typology) and Natural Spirituality.  Ongoing studies include dream groups, book groups, classes focusing on literature and annual fall and winter Sacred Studies conferences.
